Balians Consultores is local independent investment management consulting firm located in Montevideo, Uruguay. We design projects related to real estate ( construction of offices, garage parking, apart-hotels, hotels, purchase of land in the countryside for all kinds of touristic developments, purchase of land for cattle breeding and agricultural business including forestry, etc) which we offer to foreign investors as a safe and profitable investment options for their individual investment portfolios. Amount of individual investments may be as low as 300,000 Euros (USD 500,000). Return on investments may vary but fall between range of 7%-15% p.a.
We offer a comprehensive advisory service to our customers, including the setup of a local incorporated company, tax advice, office location, expert advice in filing the project to obtain the tax benefits of the promotional investment law,etc.

Jose Estrada, CPA
Senior Partner
Jose is a former senior finance executive who worked during 33 years with the Royal Dutch Shell Group. During the period 2001-2006, Jose worked as senior global executive at the headquarters of Shell in London.
After retiring from Shell he worked for KPMG in London. Jose is a professor at the University of Montevideo in Corporate Governance and Risk Management. Jose has been invited on several ocassions as a guest speaker in the European SAP Best Practice Forum in London, Vevey, Vienna, Zurich, Barcelona and Nice. |

Ignacio Estrada
Senior Partner
Ignacio combines entrepreneurial and financial experience, having developed his own company based in Uruguay (as featured on CNN as one of Uruguay's most innovative companies (watch video), following a two-year stint in New York working at Bear Stearns as a financial analyst. Currently, Ignacio has a strong focus on renewable energy and real estate projects in Uruguay. Ignacio obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (summa cum laude) at Indiana University. He is currently completing an Executive Master degree in Renewable Energy at EOI (Madrid). |

Franz Niederwieser
Operations Director
Degree in Economics, Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales y Economía, Universidad de Montevideo. Franz lived also 14 years in Germany and has experience in foreign trade and whole sale in large and small companies. |
